ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.
\n •   Safety
\n •   Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations
\n •   Utilize proper PPE at all times
\n •   Quality
\n •   Responsible to produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed
\n •   Compliance to ISO 9001
\n •   Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents
\n •   Communicate with internally concerning deviations or general request
\n •   Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices
\n •   Environmental
\n •   Verify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations
\n •   Complete reports as necessary internally
\n •   Primary Production Responsibilities
\n •   Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances
\n •   Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed
\n •   Installation of: 
\n i.   Plugs
\n ii.   Capseals
\n iii.   Rings
\n iv.   Other parts or materials as specified
\n •    Utilize various hand tools, including but not limited to air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate speed with production flow
\n •    Demonstrate acceptable level of capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation
\n •    Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager
\n •   Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
\n •   Follow direction and product required quantities

\n

OTHER DUTIES 
\n •   Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition
\n •   Attend all required meetings and trainings 
\n •   Perform all other duties as required or requested

\n

QUALIFICATIONS
\n EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
\n •   High School Diploma or GED
\n •   Prior experience in industrial manufacturing

\n

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS 
\n •   Offer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc.

\n

VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS 
\n •   Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management

\n

WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS 
\n •   Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly

\n

MATH SKILLS
\n •   Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios

\n

COMPUTER SKILLS 
\n •   Internal manufacturing systems

\n

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
\n (Typically required on a regular basis to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.)
\n •   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift
\n •   Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift
\n •   Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination
\n •   While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions
\n •   Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range
\n •   Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cold in winter months and hot in the summer months

\n

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

\n •   Boots: steel or composite toed
\n •   Safety Glasses
\n •   Gloves:  latex, work gloves, etc.
\n •   Hearing Protection
\n •   Sleeves: cut resistant
\n •   Properly fitted clothing
\n •   Hard Hat (in designated areas)
